Confined Spaces Safety

Every year, workers across Canada are seriously injured or killed in confined spaces—areas that may appear harmless but can contain deadly hazards like oxygen deficiency, toxic gases, and engulfment risks. This Confined Space Safety course equips participants with the knowledge needed to recognize these dangers and work safely and compliantly. Learners will explore confined space identification, hazard control, entry permits, atmospheric testing, PPE selection, and team responsibilities. The course also highlights communication, preparation, and rescue procedures to ensure workers are ready for emergencies and able to maintain a strong culture of safety on every confined space job.
