Course Description:
This course provides practical training on modern utility locating methods, tools, and field strategies used to identify buried infrastructure safely and accurately. Participants will explore electromagnetic (EM) locating, ground penetrating radar (GPR), tracer wire systems, signal generators, and digital documentation practices. Emphasis is placed on tool selection, environmental awareness, signal interpretation, and avoiding common locating errors to reduce risk and liability.
